MAC Cards Online is a web platform for working with metaphorical associative cards (MAC) and transformational games. It provides an infinite workspace where cards can be laid out, moved, and flipped, and changes are visible to everyone in real time.

How to use

Key steps

  1. Open the app in a browser and choose the interface language.
  2. Create a new session (“New”) or join an existing one (“Join” + code).
  3. Select a deck and start working on the canvas: draw cards, place them, add notes.
  4. Invite others using the session link or code if needed.

Scenarios

  • Solo work: create a session → pick a deck → work with a layout → capture notes.
  • Group session: host creates a session → shares link/code → participants join → collaborate on the same canvas.

Tips and errors

  • Use a modern browser and stable internet; large layouts are more comfortable on desktop.
  • Your display name is stored in the browser and can be changed in settings.
  • Voice and video are built in: that is Air, up to four participants, for signed-in users. A lecture-sized group or a recorded call still needs an external service.
