Content Guidelines

Summary: Upload your own work or content you have the rights to use. Do not upload scans of commercial card decks or other copyrighted materials without permission. When in doubt, don't upload it.

What You CAN Upload

Your own original work — photographs, drawings, digital art, and designs you created yourself
Creative Commons content — images and materials published under a Creative Commons license, provided you comply with the license terms and include proper attribution
Licensed content — materials for which you have obtained written permission or a license from the rights holder for digital reproduction and online distribution
AI-generated images — images created using AI tools (please indicate this when publishing)

What You CANNOT Upload

Scans or photographs of commercial card decks — even if you purchased the physical deck, buying it does not grant you the right to create and distribute digital copies
Images from books, magazines, or catalogs — without explicit permission from the publisher or rights holder
Game board backgrounds from commercial board games — these are protected works of their creators
Other people's artwork from DeviantArt, Pinterest, Google Images, or similar platforms — finding an image online does not mean you can use it
Content with watermarks from other platforms — this is a clear sign you don't have the right to use it
Illegal, harmful, or offensive content — including hate speech, violence, or explicit material

How to Know If You Can Upload It

Did you draw, photograph, or design it yourself?
Yes → You can upload it.

Did you purchase a license for digital use?
Yes → You can upload it (keep proof of the license).

Is it published under Creative Commons?
Yes → You can upload it if you follow the license terms (attribution, share-alike, etc.).

Did you find it on the internet?
No → You cannot upload it. "Found online" does not mean "free to use."

Did you scan a card deck you bought?
No → You cannot upload it. Purchasing a physical product does not grant you the right to distribute digital copies.

Did you generate it with AI?
Yes → You can upload it. Please indicate this when publishing.

Consequences of Violations

If you upload content that infringes someone else's rights:

1st violation: Your content is removed and you receive a warning
2nd violation: Your content is removed and your ability to upload and publish is restricted for 30 days
3rd violation: Your account is terminated and all your content is removed

You may also face legal liability from the rights holder.

Your Rights

If you believe your content was removed in error, you have the right to:

File a counter-notification explaining why you have the right to use the content
Appeal the decision through our internal appeal process
Seek out-of-court resolution through certified dispute settlement bodies
