Getting Started
This section explains how to enter the app for the first time, create a new session, or join an existing one via link or code.
What it is
- You can use the platform anonymously (no sign-in required) or sign in with Google/Yandex for additional features.
- If you open the app without a code, a new session is created automatically and you become the host.
- You can join a session via invite link, 6‑character code, or direct URL like
/ABC123or?session=ABC123. - The "Join another session" flow switches sessions and clears your current table state.
Anonymous vs. Signed-in mode
Anonymous mode (default): - No registration required - Random display name (e.g., "Clever Raccoon") - Full access to sessions, decks, and collaboration features - Settings stored locally in your browser
Signed-in mode (optional): - Sign in with Google or Yandex - Persistent profile across devices - Avatar from your account - Access to notifications, achievements, and Premium features - Ability to activate promo codes
Sign in for more features
You can start anonymously and sign in later through the Profile panel. Your current session will not be interrupted.
How to use

- Open the app. If the URL contains a code, you join that session; otherwise a new one is created.
- (Optional) Sign in: Open the Profile panel and choose "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Yandex".
- Create a new session: click "New". The session code and link appear in the Session panel.
- Join by code: click "Join", enter 6 characters (A–Z, 0–9), and confirm.
- Invite participants: copy the link or code and share it with others.
Signing in with OAuth
- Open the sidebar and switch to the Profile tab.
- Click "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Yandex".
- You will be redirected to the provider's login page.
- Authorize the application and you will be redirected back.
- Your profile will now show your email and avatar.
OAuth providers
Currently supported: Google and Yandex. More providers may be added in the future.
Scenarios
- Solo start: open without a code → choose a deck → start your layout.
- Join a host: receive link/code → open link or enter code → confirm connection.
- Switch sessions: click "Join another session" → confirm warning → enter new code.
Session transition dialog
When switching from one session to another, a confirmation dialog appears to prevent accidental data loss:
- Warning message: informs you that your current work will be cleared.
- Save screenshot option: toggle this to save an image of your current table before switching.
- Switch button: confirms the transition to the new session.
- Cancel button: keeps you in the current session.
Save before switching
Always consider saving a screenshot before switching sessions. Your cards and notes will not be preserved after the transition.
Tips and errors
- The code must be exactly 6 characters. If it's invalid, you'll see "Code must be 6 characters".
- If a session is closed or not found, create a new one or request a fresh invite.
- Before switching sessions, use the "Screenshot" action to save your current layout.
- Your display name is stored in the browser; you can edit it under "Your name" in settings.
- The session transition dialog gives you a chance to save your work before moving on.
